Skari Jewellery was born from a refusal to wear small things.

Founded by maker and designer Mai Al Askari, the brand creates handcrafted pieces in sterling silver, brass and semi-precious gemstones - jewellery designed not as decoration, but as presence.

‘I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I wanted weight. I wanted symbolism. I wanted pieces that felt like armour not fragile trends, but everyday amulets.’

Jewellery has always been more than aesthetic to me.

It is identity. Protection. Memory. Strength.

Each piece is handmade in small batches, shaped slowly, intentionally carrying texture, fire, and the marks of the human hand.

These are not delicate pieces for shrinking.They are for women who take up space.

I also create bespoke pieces for those who want to mark something personal a transition, a story, a reclaiming.
